Random Gun Pics...let’s see how random we can make it

Erma Werke baby luger in 32acp made in Germany. I bought this one and a 22lr from a buddy 4 years ago, he just pulled them out of the safe new and unfired after 40 years. I bought both for 700, I was skeptical the 22 would cycle since i've been burned by vintage 22 pistols several times over the years, sure enough its was a jam o matic. I kicked it down the road to a guy for 550, so the 32 cost me 150 after selling the 22. The 32 cycled like a sewing machine. It had 2 mags ran thru it to see if it was worth keeping and then back in the safe. It still looks brand new. I got the original boxes and docs with them both.

Went to my FFL today to pick up my new CZ 97B and he had this new addition to his 1911 collection.

An Irwindale-made AMT Hardballer Long Slide .45 ACP. Ahhhhnold would be proud.

Stay safe.
The really nice thing about these old AMT’s is the upper is much better quality than the sand-cast frames … 20+ years ago I replaced mine with a Kimber polymer frame because some previous buba had attempted a trigger job/upgrade … but it did come with a 1” compensator/barrel bushing :D because the “comp” is part of the slide, not attached to the barrel, I think it’s mostly just for the cool factor.
The Kimber frame is 13+1 of 45acp

My Czechpoint VZ-58 Sporter has identical furniture.

Should my VZ have an --attached-- bayonet?

Please Be aware that the Critical...and separate...small Locking Piece.. can be forgotten during re-assembly.
----This is All that keeps the bolt/carrier safely in battery.-----

Verify that only a qualified (& non-rushed) person re-assembles one of these.
