Here, product liability attorneys have turned everything into a “no”.
Germany also has liability laws, no ridiculously big cash payments but instead criminal prosecution. However, the main question that should be concentrated on after your post should rather be, who knows more about the hexagonal barrels and lead projectiles, the H&K engineers that spear headed the design in the HK P9S or some liability lawyer?
If there would have been any case coming to the attention of H&K Oberndorf a.N. they would have long informed the public or it could have been read on the German gun forums.

I don’t doubt that they’re fine with lead.
But which mainstream ammo company here is loading 9mm with lead projectiles? Lead would probably mean either a reloader or a home hand loader, neither of which the lawyers would want for numerous reasons. Easier for them to just say no.
Which large gun company here says handloads are fine?

I saw a couple of S&W’s at my FFL and decided to resurrect this thread and share:
A veerrrry clean S&W Model 52 .38 Wadcutter target pistol. I was told that the prior owner sold it because he didn’t reload and hasn’t found wadcutter ammo to shoot through it for several years.

They also had a very nice S&W Model 41 .22 LR with a compensator. This came from a different seller.
These are two of my grail guns, but neither one that I handled here is for sale.
