1. Watching some episode of SWAT or COPS. The team raids the drug house once again, finding some needles and a SW 629 (looks like). The officer opines that is a gun we want to get off the street - that's reasonable. The moderator opines that gun is one whose blast alone will penetrate the standard Kevlar vest.

2. Surfed by Boston Legal - some nut is stalking the lawyers. One female lawyer says to the other female - do you still have your gun? That lawyer whips out a semi something and sweeps the office. Two male lawyers opine:

#1. A gun is that the solution?
#2. What are we becoming?

Oh, well. Should have stayed with Good Eats.

Random fact, I read somewhere that when rifles muzzle velocity approaches just a little over 4000 fps, they are near the top of the velocity curve possible because most powders expand at approximately 5000 fps.
