Range Accessory for 617

My blued Model 17 and two of the other folks' 617's at my clubs all have pretty tight chambers that get tight from fouling quite easily. So I'd suggest adding a .22 size wire cleaning brush on a short extension rod and some manner of ball or "T" handle to go with that slick looking loading setup. I found that the chambers need cleaning at least once per longer day at the range. For example at the local Speed Steel matches where I'd need to clean the chambers after about 75 to 100 rounds shot.

I was going to buy the Speed Bees setup but that Revolver Supply setup looks pretty sweet too. Guess it'll depend on which can be shipped up my way.

I have been wanting to get these and finally got around to it. Loading block and DS-10 speed loader from the Revolver Supply Co.
Have not had them to the range yet but seems to work great in my basement

Very cool!
When I get back home at the end of July I have a 6” 617 that I can pick up. I think I will be looking into a setup like that .

My Dad lapped the chambers on my M63, and it solved this.
I bought a set of chamber hones off of Amazon and honed my .22 LR, 22 WMR, .38/.357, .44 and .45 Colt revolver chambers. My S&W Model 48 and 34 chambers really needed some love, those were 4-shots-and-.stuck with any ammo I used. :( Now I can shoot a lot and still eject cases .

Stay safe.
