So last week I found a Marlin 782 with a weaver K2.5 scope for $105.95 out the door. I jumped on it. I swapped the scope for a 3-9x and took it to the range this weekend and it shot pretty well. I went ahead and bedded the action and floated the barrel ( all but the last 3 inches before the receiver) and this was the first five round group at 100 yards after checking to make sure I was on paper. I made my scope adjustments and she is dead on at 100. I am very happy with how things turned out. (group measured .625" outside to outside)
