We went to the Local Gun Shop yesterday to purchase a S&W 9 mm EZ for my MBH's, (Much Better Half) birthday. Then we carried it to the range for a function test. It worked perfectly, no failures to fire, eject, anything. We fired about 100/150 rounds through it with no issues at all.

She was able to operate the slide easily and the magazines are easier to load also.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Those are neat guns. I don't "need" the EZ slide but I'm not complaining either. I handled one at a gun store and it really is effortless.

Glad you like it!

They are selling like hotcakes here locally and are one of the most popular models at the range for new shooters and ladies. I have yet to introduce an EZ model (9 or 380) to a relatively new shooter or lady and have them leave unhappy with its performance.

It is actually one of the few models that seem to bridge the gap between the new shooter and the seasoned shooter, with both groups generally happy with it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the demographics they’re aiming for include not only new shooters and females, but the larger aging population of male shooters. Baby Boomers ain’t getting any stronger.
