Rear bags for bench

Way less stable than a Protektor or Edgewood bag or Airfoil bag. Guys aren’t using these at top level bench/belly matches for good reason.

These are convenient and inexpensive - THAT is their advantage. But rear squeeze cubes (for whatever reason we call them this) like this are the least stable rear bag option.

I agree. I have several sizes I’ve tried and don’t use any of them.

OK, Though I do know a couple of our members are using these Squishy bags. I did look at the Airfoil bags and now I will have to ask our league manager if those are accepted. I do know from the very first meeting that there was a big discussion on shooting supports as the year before I started they would allow and many used front rests.

I got a bag of popcorn and put it into an old sock. I used it for maybe 20 years until recently when I was shooting a revolver off it and burned a hole in the sock and the bag. A bag of rice works well too.
Thinking of maybe using the corn husk from my tumbler.

I have (3) lead shotgun pellet bags full of unwashed creek sand that my mother sewed shut 55 years ago. A little dusty but I still use them now and then.

Stay away from the caldwells. Complete junk! I have 3 that have either ripped or the media got wet and hard as a rock. You also cannot refill them.
