Friends, I'm looking to buy a reasonably priced bipod for a Remington 710, that has a front stud, which I am currently using for a sling. Ideally I would like to buy a bipid for that front stud, but still retain my ability to attach a sling. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I agree, buy a Harris. You can pick up a used one for $40-50 if you search around. I've bought several in this price range.

In 2016 I shot two antelope and a Mule deer buck with a $17 delivered bi pod
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017IJNELC/

I had 5 rifles and 5 bipods to test on that hunting trip, but the only bipod that got packed was the experimentally cheap bipod. 5 rifles had to share one bipod. I practice shooting long range out in the sage brush for a week or two before the season opens there.
So that $17 bipod got moved around a lot from rifle to rifle and got to rub up against an expensive rifle.... a real social triumph for $17 bipod.

Harris, and if you get the model that cants, get the little crank thing that replaces the tightening nut for the cant.
