I need to get 9 magazines Cerakoted in Florida and I'll be sending just the magazine bodies to the shop. They are Thompson Center .22LR magazines, 7 are 10 rounders and 2 are 5 rounders. Any deep black colour will do.

If you have shop recommendations I would like to hear them, along with indications of price and how long it should take to do the work.

Well, the only thing I can say is AVOID BLACKWOLF GLOCK SHOP/ BLACKDEVIL FIREARMS. He's based out of Palm beach, FL advertising refinishing jobs. I'm not trying to dog on him, but his past and reviews are less than stellar. Just look him up, goes by the name of Louis Rosenberg.

Thanks for the tip, I will avoid him!

Update: I decided to go with APW Cogan as per BBBBill's recommendation (as well as other positive reviews here on THR). That was half the reason, the other half is I didn't have a lot of time to do this, I had to mail the magazines on the 31st of October and get them back no later than the 15th of November because I flew back to London on the 16th. I sent only the magazine bodies: left the springs and followers in London.

Bob and Melinda at APW Cogan helped me get this done on time (I understand they pulled out the stops for this, they understand my time problem).
I had discussed these mags with Bob before he got them and he had advised I might be better off getting them chromed if I wanted a hard finish on the mags. I don't care what the mags look like and I was all for it but it turns out the mags are pot metal, not steel!

I didn't know this, Bob called me and told me all he could do was Cerakote them which I agreed to.
It looks like a good job, I can only see one blemish and one scratch amongst the 9 magazines but this doesn't bother me. They look a heck of a lot better than before!

I will get some photos and post them shortly...

Here are the mags, they look great:

There is one small blemish:

And one small scratch:

That's all I can find on 9 well-used mags. I can say I am a happy customer, now to reassemble them and test them!
