Recommend a good adjustable shooting stick

I missed a nice buck this morning due to my Allen adjustable shooting stick collapsing under the weight of my rifle. Needless to say I'm pretty ticked off.

I'm in need of something better. Something compact that I can carry with ease through thick brush. American made would be nice, but isn't necessary. I'd be satisfied with either a monopod or bipod. Price is a consideration, but I'd pay a reasonable amount for quality.

I use a bipod I bought at Dunhams for 31 bux. Nice legs that extend out quite a ways, and feather light to boot.
