Hello everyone,
Was asking for some advice. I am reloading some 300 blackout for hog hunting.
I am useing CFEBLK with the Barnes tactx 130 gr bullet, I will be using new hornady brass and cci magnum primers. Found load data for 110 does anyone know where the data would be for the 130gr.
I will be shooting this load with a 16 in barrel please advise thank you all for ur help

There is a 300 blackout forum. not sure if i can post a link but it is easy to find.
tons of load data.

.300 Blackout will kill hogs. The hog pictured was shot at about 100 yards. One shot and down in the neck. A few minutes later I would shoot two more hogs at 225 yards. That was a hail Mary shot at the hogs sneaking across the pasture behind me. I was as surprised as they were. It took about half a mag to get it done, but it did get it done. I was using some sort of 110 grain bullet, but I don't remember the load.
I got into the .300 BO when it looked like silencers might become more easily to get. I thought it was the perfect to team up with a silencer, shoot big bullet, proper twist, Hollywood quiet. But I also thought that it would be very limited set up that way and pretty short range. That was OK, because most of my hog hunting was short range near feeders. I also consider the BO to be more in the power range of a pistol. A really good pistol, but pistol none the less. It will work and it will kill hogs. Lots of people like it and it's fun to play with.
I moved on and went to a 6.8. I like the it better, but have no plans to try and suppress it. Baskin/Robbins has 31 flavors for a reason, something for all of us. Good luck with your .300 BO, the hogs won't like it, but probably won't say anything. 20170321_181700.jpg

Load data for what you’re looking for is in the Lee reloading manual, second edition, page517. Have never hunted hogs so can’t give advice on that, but it lists your combination max load of 22 grains of CFEBLK for an FPS of 2092, with a COL of 2.005. Check it out.
