Have been reloading rifle & pistol ammo for over 30+ yrs.....been loading for my 9mm maybe 6yrs. This is my question: How can the COL lengthen by .005 after running cartridge thru the taper crimp die? COL b4 taper crimp was 1.095....after COL was 1.100.....how/why can this happen?? Ran rounds back into seater die to seat bullets to COL of 1.095 (Plunk tested ok in my CZ)....taper crimping .002/.003....strange or what. Any thoughts on how/why this happened??
