In my quest for cheap ammo I came across a site for
Lancer Custom Ammunition

I was puzzled by this statement on their home page;
Offering Custom Reloaded Ammunition using once fired OEM Remanufactured Brass, and New ammunition using Factory New Brass.

What exactly is remanufactured brass???
You don't remanufacture the brass you remanufacture the ammunition.
You can recondition the brass.

Then again it's probably just the change of life (I am turning into a curmudgeon) that is causing me to become even more nit-picky than I already was.

BB, did you send them an email to ask? I am curious too, but my gut and my brain both tell me 'remanufactured" means 'sized and loaded'. I would like to know more too, and will email them my questions if you have not already.

Hey-Hey-Hey Blues My Friend-

that sounds like an excellent question for MR. Dan
Scharch of Scharch Manufacturing in Colorado.

I think it means that the brass has been cleaned,
inspected, deprimed, and roll sized to the
factory specs? One thing for sure, I have used
(and still using) a lot of his mixed headstamp MIL
COM brass in 9m/m, .38 Special, and .45 ACP. Its
good stuff, and at only a fraction of the cost of new
brass!

Best Wishes,
