Has the BDL ever had a 1 in 10 twist in 243? Or any other Remington ever had this twist in 243? All their new 243's have a 1 in 9 1/8 twist.

yes, their older models came with a 1/10 twist, 600's, mohawks, 660's, 788's, not sure about the 721's though. I love a 788, and have 2, you would do good to get one. Best factory triggers ever put on a rifle, ever.

What are the 788's?

I remember now. "Lower budget" guns. They are the ones with the extra locking lugs. Also remember that they had a weak bolt handle. Supposed to be good shooters.

Reloading book lists that some 700's were made with a 1 in 10. Wonder when that was??
