Has anyone ever heard of this model being chambered in 7mm-08? I dont see it listed in the blue book and cant find any samples on GB. Had someone tell me they had one for sale. They said it was a competition rifle with synthetic match stock and competition sites.

Did Remington make it, or is it all custom? What would something like this be worth in say...90% condition?

The Remington 722 was discontinued in 1962. The 7mm-08 wasn't introduced until 1980. No way it was original, but rebarreling actions is a fairly trivial and common thing to do. I'm sure whoever said they have it was being truthful, but it's a custom job.

Value is hard to judge on things like that. I know it sounds frustrating and like a non-answer, but it's worth "whatever someone will pay for it". You don't have as much of a baseline as when comparing with factory models.

That said, 7mm-08 is known more as a hunting cartridge than a competition cartridge.

Great info, thank you. Based on what you're saying, sounds like it could be a bit of a limited market. I am waiting for him to tell me what he wants for it.
