I remember reading about that gun comming out then it kind of went away

They were released, then quickly recalled.

The ones that made it out the door, or at least a good percentage of them, were choke full of very serious problems, most stemming from what could only be godawful quality control.

Supposedly a "version 2" is set to be released sometime in the future. They reviews better be stellar, as the first iteration of this gun was nothing short of appalling.

Wasnt Remington bought out along with marlin and bushmaster , the quilty control went in the trash I was at a gun store last week and a guy could not even
work the lever on a marlin 30 30 gun store person said they send so many Remingtons and marlins back right out of the box its sad. I believe he said that
they were bought out by some investor stock market type called freedom group
I maybe totally wrong , I was kind of shocked by it though snyway good luck
