I have had two remington sendero's returned to the factory for repair. These are supposed to be relatively problem free. This is not my question though.

Does anyone know what a "M101" might be, in relation to the repair document sent back with the rifle?

This rifle had very serious head space problems. The repair document stated that a "M100 - see customers letter" was reported, and that a "M101 - Accuracy" was found.

I have received two flawed Sendero's this year, a .300 ultra and a 7mm ultra. I know these are supposed to be out of the box moa rifles. I am getting very annoyed, considering that I wanted these guns and myself setup and ready for out to 1,000 yard shooting. I received this gun back yesterday evening, and our deer hunt opens Sunday. I have probably 4,000 into this endeavor, and I feel like I keep starting over. Sorry, I had to rant.

This is what I've come to expect when buying a Remington. So many people on here will tell me I'm a liar and that Remington still makes great products, but everything I've had in the last few years has had issue right out of the box. I've also had several friends that have bought new Remingtons in the last couple of years and they have all had problems too. I'm sure they have a lot that don't have issues, but the ratio of ones that do is way too high for me.

Yeah, based on everyone I talk to, they expect great things from a sendero. This is a disapointment. My dealer is trying to help, but doesn't take a hit for anything. He gave me a couple of boxes of ammo at cost but that is it. I get a, "man, that sucks."

Anyway, I will restart this in the rifle thread, because this seems to not be the place to get the answer.

side note, I have a brother n law who has a sendero in 6.5, that shoots less than 1/2 inch, out of the box. This is his load of course, and not factory. So I understand why someone would say they are great. They just don't seem consistent.
