I tried to remove this Iver Johnson barrel, but it won't budge. Wrapped w leather, used Kroil, put it in a vise, and twisted the frame....the barrel still turned with unscrewing.

Any ideas? Apply a torch?

Funny, I don't see a pin close enough to the barrel to have anything to do with it. Rather, there's a lever near the pin which is probably retained by said pin.

Your looking too low. On the flat section about 3/4 down I'm seeing a pin ~ 1/8" which is in the correct position to secure the barrel.

Sure enough there's a pin. No, wait, it's a spot on my monitor. Your eyes are better than mine because I see only the one pin which is too low on the frame to prevent the barrel from turning.

If one looks at the Numrich exploded parts drawing for the closest revolver to this one, there is nothing which could be described or assumed to be a barrel retaining pin. In addition, that blemish on the frame doesn't look like any pin I ever saw, regardless of age. Some gently cleaning, and perhaps some Liquid Wrench, could either remove the spot, or show what it really is. Pins are round.
In any case, some kind of barrel wrench is going to be needed.

Yes, That is what I was seeing. The other side will confirm or not.

It's also possible that LocTite was used and heat will need to be applied to break it loose. Need to get to the 400-450F range for it to release.
