Replacement Ruger ejector rod, housing, base pin and maybe pawl

Folks,
I'm wanting to switch out the ejector rod on my NM Blackhawk for one with a larger head on it.
Also, want to switch out the housing since the Al is scratched up with a steel housing.
And, while I'm at it going to replace the base pin.

I'm thinking about a locking Belt Mountain base pin (the #5 Elmer's are out of stock at Brownell's). However, not sure which ejector and housing to go with.

Also, any other simple work to improve the revolver would be great. If I like this I might do the same to the old model Ruger I have. Hesitant to mess with it much though.

Thinking about the free spin pawl, but not sure I want to get into that. How rough it it to fit and install?

Input? Opinions? Experience, all appreacitated!

I have done some of these. I have used and like the crescent-headed ejector by Qualite and the cam-cut housing, which gets the larger head out of the way a bit. I have also installed Belt Mtn pins on two Rugers. One was a great fit but there were some, err, geometry problems with the other Ruger and the tighter pin made them worse. I looked at the free spin pawl as well and after reading through the directions and thinking about it decided that I'd leave the guns the way they were. Another thing to think about is converting the mainspring to an Old Army spring, which speeds up lock time.

I converted my stock pawl to "free spin" configuration. Left it in for about 2 months, but I missed the "clicks" too much. Ordered a new stock pawl from Brownells and now I've got my beloved clicks back. With a .45 colt, it's kinda hard to miss the hole the first time around anyway.
