Anyway, Streamlight has the best customer service (but I still have my Insight M6 on my shotgun I'll keep it for now)..they will fix the Problem for you
GoodLuck
I have this same light on a similar 2022! Nice choice. I also have a TLR-1 on a shotgun next to the bed. I am a HUGE fan. When weighing the pro's of knowing your target vs. the con's of identifying yourself as a target, I vote for the former, especially with a house full of kiddo's.
Last week I taught a gun safety class for a group of 23 10 year old's, and I used this light to demonstrate muzzle safety. Mounted to a toy gun, I used the light to encourage everyone in the class to hit the deck & yell Muzzle! Muzzle! Whenever that bright light touched anything valuable, like them.
I used the laser to demonstrate bullet path, and how far muzzle contol is required. (Forever was the answer). They can be terrific training aids; just be careful of those fragile eyes.
this isnt a insight thread, but honestly i am NOT impressed with the M2 UTL and the rail system attachment SUCKS. i can EASILY pull it right off the gun or pistol rails. it has fallen off on many occasions when getting banged around.
on the other hand, my streamlight is screwed tight, and snugged with a nickle as a screwdriver. its NOT coming off, nor loosing its zero.
dont even get me started on the stupidly low power surefires i have
