Revolver capper

Remmie recesses are the hardest.
I always used a straight line capper.
Many folks open them up a bit with a dremel tool.
I did with mine--makes them easy to cap & clean.
Colts & Rugers work with either a snail capper or a straight line capper.
I like Ted cash cappers the best.

You need a straight line capper with one or two steel springs on the tip. The Ted Cash capper is the narrowest & best for Remingtons but other cappers with a single spring on the tip also work well as long as you grind away any steel or brass that doesn't actually support the cap. The cappers with a slit brass tip will not fit into the narrower Remington nipple cutouts (the brass lips that hold th cap are too fat to fit a Remington.

Has anybody found a capper that will work on ROA, Colt clones, and Remington clones?
Here is a capper that works on ALL my C&B revolvers, be it Colt, Remington or Ruger....

I recommend using a Dremel with a diamond grinding wheel to cut down the jaws on that capper, junkman 01.
