Revolver for classes

It sounds like your revolver may not be back in time for your class. I suggest calling S&W and asking to talk to somebody higher up. If you don't get the answer you are looking for, ask for somebody above them until you do. Purchasing a different revolver for class is definitely an option. I believe an 8 shot variant would be helpful for class because of the increased capacity. As others have said, bring lots of moon clips/speed loaders. I also recommend testing out any gun that you plan to bring to class thoroughly before committing to it. That includes the one that is supposed to be returned from S&W. If you are taking a class from a big name place it will be a large investment. It would be in your best interest to have a backup gun with you in the event that your primary one stops working. There is a lot on the line financially if you only have one gun and things do happen, especially in a training environment. Make sure to bring a squib rod and small hammer! Good luck with your class! It should be lots of fun.
