Revolvers in IDPA

Sounds good NEon! We're staying at the new Hilton in town. We were there last month and it's really nice and the service is WAY better than the holiday Inn. I'm getting in Wed sometime also, shooting Friday and leaving Sunday AM.

Are you shooting a wheelgun also?

TeamCorBon, I'm using a 1911 style (Colt) in the CDP class. I am bringing down an old model 25 to put on a four inch barrel. I'm thinking of using a model 581 with fixed sites for the spring shoot here.

As for service, I guess we will just use the bed. Hope they are still fit to sleep in! :) You flying or driving?

Well, my S&W 64-1 I shoot 125gr. .38 specials. I use the MK2 injection-molded rubber speedloaders. I use Uncle Mikes nylon double speedloader pouch and holster.

That being said, I think I am going to put her away and look into a 686 or something like that. I still like the .38/.357, but I want a gun that i'd feel comfortable getting a trigger job on.

Revolver is challenging, but IDPA is very revolver friendly, in my opinion anyway...

Double Speedloader Pouch

Does anyone know the brand name of the double speedloader pouch shown as "legal" on p. 38 of the New (January 24th version) IDPA rules. Looks like just the ticket for my Safariland Comp III speedloaders. thanks. John Mingo.

John,

as Jim Watson (above) pointed out to me when I asked the same question, it's a blade-tech. You can order it on their website, but yours will have to wait in line behind mine to me made!

(p.s.--fanatical rules about concealment equipment, but they still allow comp III's  ? Fine, I'll use 'em!)

Mr. Watson, do you have a link to Ready Tactical Products? I am interested in a kydex paddle holster for a 4" GP-100.
