I've been a cowboy at heart since I was a kid. Cap gun six shooter and a red rider were the guns of choice for a kid in the sixties. John Wayne was an American hero, Today I picked up a Rossi Rio Bravo rimfire and it is a blast to shoot. Shorts, longs, and long rifle. Smooth and accurate even for my old eyes. upload_2023-2-25_19-4-53.jpeg

Cool. IMHO, nothing is more fun than a lever action .22, a brick of ammo and a warm afternoon to plink away. :)

Stay safe.

Um, we need an actual range report, eh? Or is there one somewhere on here already? My first introduction to LA rimfires was a single-shot Ithaca. There was a repeater version at the local hardware store (this was 50+ years ago) for like $60 that I lusted after but couldn't get my mom to go along with. I believe that this is a pretty faithful replica of the old Ithaca design. Clearly not a Marlin or Winchester, but I already have my Marlin 39A and a couple of Henry's. Just curious.

LGS had 3 of the Rio Bravo 22mags in stock when I stopped by on Friday. If I didn't have the Marlin 57M already I'd have been extremely, instead of only slightly tempted.
