A great man has passed. I first interacted with RC on KTOG forum, I learned of THR from him. He was so generous with time and patience. May God bless RC and his family. RIP.

RIP RC,
he has finally taken the High Road and left us.

My condolences to his family.

I will miss RCs posts I always enjoyed them, I know he will be greatly missed here.
At least some of RC will live on here at THR.

Thanks Bull for letting us know.

If rc said it, I basically took it as gospel. I will miss his advice. He will be missed, but live on in the search function.

RIP RC. Most of my searches are answered with his posts. Our prayers are out to you and your family RC

I don't recall if he ever answered on of my questions, but he answered many and I looked for them to read. He was a scholar of firearms and loved nothing more than to teach someone else. I enjoyed all his posts and the world is diminished by his passing. Thank you Sir for everything I learned from you. Be at peace now.

And that's the beautiful thing, Dudedog.

His knowledge, posts and experience will live on for everyone to learn and grow from. In 59,000 posts, he made an indelible mark on the firarms community. He answered so many questions and helped so many people, and there will be others later on who will find those posts and he will still be helping people even in the afterlife.

God bless RC Model and THR.

My prayers and condolences go out to your family and friends.
And to all the members of THR, RC will be missed but not forgotten.

RIP RC

Though I never met him in person we have traded PM's and I feel like I have lost a very close friend. This just hurts.

My prayers for his family.

We will miss you RC.

I'm saddened to read that Richard has passed away. He was one of those who I always trusted to provide correct information...When he wrote, I paid attention. We are all lessened by his absence.

Thank heavens that so much of his wisdom is preserved here!

My condolences to his many friends and family. I knew him only from the forum but he was an incredibly generous guy with his time and knowledge. He will be sorely missed.

RIP RC One of the truly sincere caretakers of THR. He was truly one to look up to. You will be sorely missed. We all have an expiration date so always live life following the high road because you could be next up.

My heartfelt condolences to his family.
RC was always what I considered the absolute answer to any given question.

While some can come across as abrasive or aloof, as prickly and snarky, RC always came across as a guiding hand to the answer. It was not binary. Right and wrong. He listened, he gave his knowledge freely. I never saw him come down harshly on anyone, never acted above any other poster.

I never had the privilege of conversing directly with him, but I have sought his wisdom during my several years visiting THR.

We have lost a pillar in our community, but his great knowledge will live on for as long as people yern to seek it out.

Rest well, good sir. Thank you for all you have given.

Rest in peace RC. Thank you for all the knowledge you have given your fellow shooting enthusiasts over the years.

I am sorry to hear this- he had similar tastes in stuff from what I ever saw on here... Good man and will be missed! RIP friend!
