Oh my... I just read this... RC, you will be missed, your wisdom and friendliness will not ever be forgotten, may you finally walk on the highest of roads in Heaven now.

RC was the epitome of help on this forum. I joined this board when I was 17, looking for info on my grandfather's only firearm that was passed on to me. His curtious, well-educated and prudent responses inspired me to provide the same to other enthusiasts not just on this board, but within my own circles as well.

There's a reason THR stands as one of the best communities one can be a part of. Other groups just dont show the respect and gratitude shown here.

RC, I never met you in person. But your spirit inspires all of us to be the best we can be whether its here in the shooting world or anywhere else. You are loved.

I am deeply saddened by his passing, he has shared so much with so many and never asked anything in return. He was a wealth of knowledge that seemed to be bottomless and was never condescending to anyone, even when they sometimes deserved it. I feel saddened for his friends and family that will have to get through this and continue on without him. He will be missed by many people dearly.

RIP sir, thank you for sharing yourself so selflessly. May your family find peace.

Rest in Peace RC

Some people never know how much they mean to so many people. They just help when they can and go on to the task as it comes. RC allways seemed to be this way from the time I first started on THR. Will miss the information and advice he gave freely to anyone at any time. God will surely bless and keep him.

My condolences to his family. I always enjoyed reading his posts and as it has been stated, an immense wealth of knowledge. Truly a great loss for the community.

RC might have been my favorite poster on here. He could draw on a lifetime of first-hand experience on almost any subject you could ask, then distill all that down into 1 or 2 punchy sentences. He had a distinctive writing style, and I'll remember him for his economy as much as anything else. I haven't seen another author on any other forum who could say so much while writing so little.

He's going to live on for a long time through this board. If you search for almost anything regarding guns or knives and click on an old THR thread, RC's going to be there.

Very sad news. I used to love to read RCs posting because he was very knowledgable. Last year I really enjoyed the series on the custom knife he was making. I found it almost as interesting as the odd bits of things he had stored in has garage he could use. I will really miss him. Thank you for the detailed posting on what had happened.

I hate to hear this. I'm new to reloading and he was always very patient and informative with my questions. He is in a better place.

Very sad to hear this. He was not only very knowledgeable, but a very good person inside. I wish I could have known him in person. There will be a big empty hole here at THR without him.

Rest in peace RC Model.
My condolences to his family. Big loss for our comunty. Great resource of information and knowledge share through THR. He was like many others the spirit of THR.

Thanks RC
