RMR 69gr 3GH ?

Does anyone know the BC on this bullet? I’m working up some loads for it in a Savage Axis 223 1/9 with BL-C(2) and will be trying to play with some apps to start my foray into “longer range” shooting(3-500 yards) I have been limited to 100 yard ranges until now and really just want to hit a milk jug at 500, then if I can improve on that and find the limits of shooter and rifle, determine which needs more work to step it out a little more.


Any helpful hints or tips would also be appreciated.
I’ll be using same year once fired lake city brass, CCI 400 spp, BL-C(2) powder, and RMR 3GH 69 bullets.

If your referring to the 69gr HPBT, it should be very close to the SMK which is around 0.30

That’s the one I’m working with. Thought it was the 3GH but it may not be. Guess I need to get my brain looked at again, I’m making too many simple mistakes lately.

I just checked my last order, and this is what I ordered: .224 RMR 69 Gr. BTHP *NEW* (Read Description Before Ordering) (.224 69 RMR JHP BT 3GH New 500) So yes, we were both right.

ETA had I read the description better, I’d have seen this: We haven’t yet done extensive testing on the BC but you should expect about .320-.335 depending on the velocity you shoot it at.

I've Hurd good things about rmr new bullet, shoots better and higher bc compared to the smk.

Only have a 16" 223 at the moment otherwise I'd order some to try.
