Well, shoot (pun intended). Since I live in St. George, Utah, I've been supporting our local business (Berry's Bullets), but can no longer justify the additional expense; there's no place local that sells them at reasonable prices. Go figure... they're made 5 miles away.

It's less expensive to order from RMR, and since you guys are giving them such high marks, I'm going to order 1k of their 115gr 9mm rn thick plate hard core to try out.

Edit: Actually, RMR now shows the 115 gr 9mm rn FMJ's in stock now for one whole dollar more per thousand than the plated! I'm like a kid on Christmas morning.

In the last 6 month's, I'v ordered about 4000 bullets from RMR, 40 cal and 223. I've been very pleased with everything I've recieved. Unless they are buried in orders, they usually ship the same day.

This will be the very first that we come out with. And it will be identical to the 124 RMR HC that we have been selling.

GREAT! The 124 HC FNs are my current favorite practice bullet but they may get bumped with the jacketed 124/125 FN when/if it becomes available.

(I prefer 124/125s in 9mm over 115s)

Phlier-don't forget the 5% discount code.
I have been happy with everything I have ordered from RMR betting you will like their stuff as well.

If it makes you feel better, I was born in St. George and my dad's family lives there. I plan on returning some day. But maybe to New Harmony. St. George was a town of only 25,000 when I lived there. Traffic is a little more than I can sanely handle now.

I've reloaded and shot both brands, and I prefer the RMR bullets, for quality, price and fast shipping. This is a personal opinion, of course, but Jake's business model is a good one.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know what ya mean... I first moved here in 1989. Just loved it! Five minute drive to go out shooting in the desert. Now all of my outdoor shooting spots are covered in neighborhoods.

It's still a great place to live 8 months of the year, but the 4 months of 100+ temps do drag on a bit.

My wife is a native, too. Back when Pineview was the newest high school, and so big the locals thought it would never reach capacity.

Good to know I'll still be buying from a local guy. :)

Just the opposite here. I've reloaded and shot both brands and prefer Xtreme. I know zilch about their business model.

I have had good success with some of both, and will likely continue to use both.

I just received 1K of the RMR .355 90 Gr JHP. They shoot great at high speed in 9MM. Packaging wasn't anything special this time (Not bad), but is usually is very good. Shipping is indeed fast. :)

This has me curious. We did our testing against several loads using various brands of plated bullets and one bullet that we ALWAYS beat with every load was the Xtreme. Could you please tell me what problems you had with our bullet? Or why you prefer the Xtreme? I want to make it better if I can.

I was a long time Berry's customer, via Cabela's during their sales. Once I discovered RMR, that was all done.

IMO, RMR has really good products at great prices.

I had no problems with RMR bullets. It’s just personal preference. The Xtremes are a little cleaner to handle than the RMRs and have a little cleaner lines. I know you tout the foldover on the bottom of your bullets, and that’s fine, but it means nothing to me. I’m not a competition shooter, just a plinker, and prefer the cleaner lines of the Xtremes. The Xtreme 9mm plated, 115 and 124 gr, RN and HP, are consistently .3555” diameter and the RMR equivalents were .355-.3565”. I don’t have to fiddle with my expander die nor crimp die from batch to batch with the Xtremes. Prices are comparable, except when Xtreme runs a 20% discount sale. ;) RMR shipping is faster, but I try not to need bullets in a rush. If I ever do, I will probably order from RMR, but shipping time normally isn’t a priority with me. For my purposes, I find the two brands perform equally well, I just prefer to load Xtremes. Basically, different strokes for different folks. Hope I answered your question.

Edit to get back on topic: I looked at RMR’s new 115 gr after seeing the OP, but I prefer 124 gr. I saw somewhere that Xtreme is now making 124 gr FMJs, so I ordered some to try. They are in transit. If I’m not happy with them, I will probably try RMR’s 115 gr FMJs, or more likely their 124 gr when they come out. FMJs for or near plated prices is just too good to pass up.

I moved away in 1991. It isn't even the same town. The streets are the same but all the buildings have changed.
Yup. There's still a few of the old motels left on the Boulevard, and Frost Top is still there, but yeah... other than that, it's just a totally different place.

I'm wearing down She Who Must Not Be Named right now. I'm going to go ahead and order 4k of the 115 gr fmj's as soon as she gives in. Tired of buying small quantities. :)
