Are the TT-33, TTC, Romanian, Polish, Chinese, etc. Tokarev Hammer Frame assemblies all interchangeable?

The rear tail on my Romanian broke some time during the last outing, pistol continued to function as I didn't notice it until I was putting it back together after cleaning. Was having a great day at the plate rack and am thankful I'd stocked up on 7.62x25 surplus when it was cheap and plentiful.

Found one for a "TT-33" on Gun Broker, the seller of course answered my question with "Yes, it will work on TTC", I'd just like an independent second opinion.

To be specific I'm looking to buy the hammer frame only and move my internals to the replacement frame so all the pin hole locations and and sizes would need to match. Mine has a great trigger pull/break so I don't really want a complete assembly, which seem to run about 1/3rd the price of another TTC which would probably be my "plan B"

I imagine that it would be a roll of the dice. None of those were CNC'd, so normal production tolerances could be all over the map. Much like the 1911, but worse. Everyone thinks that parts drop in on those, then end up crying that the parts are faulty when in reality, it's the marketing.

Good point!

It occurred to me that I have a Chinese, Yugo, Polish, and another Romanian in the collection safe. I dug them out and measured the spacing (smallest dimension) between the hammer pin and sear pin with a caliper and magnifier. I skipped the Yugo as its quite different, but even Romanian to Romanian was off by about 5 to 6 thousands.

Looks like they are made to be only interchangeable as an assembly as all the assemblies seemed to fit and pass non-firing function checks.

Looks like I now have to decide on ordering a complete hammer frame assembly or getting another TTC for spare parts. Or I could just keep shooting it as-is until something else breaks.
