Romney Aims Again to Explain Hunting

two hunting trips doesn't make you a lifetime hunter. Sort of like John Kerry's picture with a shotgun doesn't make him a duck hunter.

Perhaps we could get Mr. Zumbo to offer free, second amendment advice to the good candidate. Claiming to be pro-second amendment and using hunting bona fides as proof simple will no longer flush.

I don't think Mitt can re-create his past with respect to gun control. He will not be able to do the straddle this time around. Mr. Zumbo saw to that.

"Life Long Hunter" Romney Never Had License, Says He Didn't Need One
Associated Press | April 7, 2007 09:26 PM
Officials in the four states where Mitt Romney has lived say the Republican presidential contender, who calls himself a lifelong hunter, never took out a license. Romney says that is because he seldom has hunted where he needed one.
Questions about his hunting activities trailed Romney this past week after he remarked at a campaign stop that he has been a hunter nearly all his life. The next day, his campaign said Romney had gone hunting just twice _ once as a teenager in Idaho and last year with GOP donors in Georgia.

I'm sorry, but does Mitt not think people are going to look this stuff up? Check out his claims? If he's on such thin ice over something as stupid as this, he should never come close to the presidency. I'd have more respect for him if he just admitted he's a longstanding anti and not throw up the smoke a mirrors (such as this fraudulent "lifetime hunter" stuff and the sudden NRA membership)... what a fake.

All this hunting BS is just to get votes from gun owners. He in no way supports the consititution. He does not hunt, nor owns any firearms. But I am thankful he is running for president since he is no longer the Governor of Mass. We all are proud that he left this state.

These people are moving left to right/right to left so fast they leave an ephemeral trail of bull. Like wiggling a pencil in your fingers, sooner or later the pencil bends. Voting for the lesser of two evils is not a democratic process. It's like choosing between a leg or arm.

No lic? So he was a life long poacher? Some states I have lived you did not need a lic for hunting your land. I can't imagine that in Mass that would be the case....

In any case I would say he is more like a lifelong liar than hunter. Another RINO I will not vote for.
