shinju,Thank your friend. That is a good vid.
Ron Pauls message is both simple and profound. I don't understand why he has so many detractors here. Maybe they just aren't listening.

I think most of them reacted to that exchange between RP and Guliani just the way Guliani wanted them to. Now they're kinda ashamed of themselves but too stiffnecked to admit they screwed up. Instead, they intend to keep beating the same old drum until they find some music in it. As long as they can make noise though, they can continue to 'not hear' what's being said.

I don't understand why he has so many detractors here.

Because his foreign policy is somewhere between Rosie O'Donnell and Jimmy Carter.

That's why he's at 0% in the polls.

Sad, really, that a foreign policy in line with the CONSTITUTION is unpopular on a site like this.

I don't advocate, nor expect, that we will suddenly withdraw and isolate ourselves.

But we never should have become the world's policeman.

And if you really value the concept of a Citizen Militia and fiscal conservatism, you should consider the idea.

Right, which is why the latest polls show that 67% of American oppose the Iraq war while only 30% favor it.

And why the republicans lost the house and senate in 06.

Yeah its a tough race in the Republican primary. I wonder if Juliani will take him out of the running due to competing popularity among the same people. Would leave another less qualified candidate the ability to walk away with the nomination..........

I am telling you people right now, that if the Republicans nominate a "stay the course" type with a Neo-Con foreign policy, you might as well expect Hillary or Obama to win.

Irreguardless of what the Republican base wants, the all important independent swing voters are in full revolt on this issue and siding with the Democrats.

The American people are sick of the Iraq war and a so called "preventative wars", (if that isnt an oxymoron, I dont know what is).

The American public has never had a like for long drawn out conflicts, Eisenhower and Nixon were elected to end the conflicts in Vietnam and Korea.

If the republicans nominate a hawk, they might as well kiss the election good by.

The war in Iraq will be the central issue on 2008 imo, just like it was in 2006.

This is a story that is not being reported.
News Analysis

According to eyewitnesses, the Ron Paul tax rally taking place next door to the Iowa Tax Forum - and competing with it - actually outdrew the official forum and its many GOP candidates.

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex) had not been invited to the forum, according to sponsors because he was not a serious candidate with a serious, successful campaign, or an organization in Iowa.

Two reports - from the Des Moines Register and Iowapolitics.com - put Ron Paul’s rally numbers around 600-800. But eyewitness attending the rally put the numbers at 1000-1200, or 200-600 more than the formal GOP forum.

Ron Paul's campaign, in a press release posted at www.RonPaul.com on July 1, put the number at 1,000.

I have seen the videos. the place was full.
There is also a rumor (being questioned and investigated) That the FCC ordered NO coverage for Ron Paul.
Why would the big story in Iowa not be reported?

CAUTION Rumor only at this point,

This isn't some wild conspiracy that was on the rumor mill at the event. I was standing right next to Congressman Jim Guest while he was explaining this to someone who had asked him why the major media wasn't here covering Ron Paul.
This is being looked into to find Facts.
Any news will be shared. Lots of eyes on this.

frigate, It just may be that some people don't want us to hear what he has to say. It isn't the first time this sort of tactic has been used and it probably won't be the last.
BOHICA!

The BIG News story, is the story they don't want to tell.

All that shows me is that RP supporters are doing RP searches over and over again.
Or just maybe your crystal ball is broken and what it really means is that no one can find any information about Ron Paul on TV or the Big Media Websites since he's not in their pockets like every other big name candidate (Fred Thompson included.) The only way to find out about him is to search for the smaller news and independent websites that are actually interested in freedom.

There may be some repeat searches, but there may be more intrest than is being reported.

Here is one set of vids from Iowa.

Even if it was repeat Paul searches, are you saying every other candidates supporters only enter their name once in a search engine, and RP supporters are the only ones that search for him multiple times? Why is everyone trying to discredit evry positive thing about this guy? Especially the people here?

Heck, it's always broken, no news there.

Where are these so called "interested in Ron Paul people" hearing about him in order to Google him so much if he's not on TV or the Big Media Websites media coverage, to use your words? Do they just wake up one morning and have an epiphany to Google Ron Paul, a name they don't know? Where's this huge "need to know" coming from"?

No, it's the grassroots org doing it's job and performing searches in all search engines, in addition to infiltrating websites, such as this one. Just like the debates he was in, when the end of debate "call in" polls were done and Ron Paul was ahead by an astonishing number. Same folks, same game.

I wonder about many things.
I came to THR in my search for 2nd amendment rights. The loss of individual rights, property rights and a growing police state have troubled me for a few years. My coming here was because of the 2nd in particular.
I first heard of Ron Paul on this site, before his run for President. I believe it was in reference to H.R.1096.
I still wonder where all the Pro-Gun supporters are. No one has co sponsored this bill.
When I first heard of him my thought was "who the h*** is Ron Paul?"
I went looking. I found what I was looking for.
He has my support.
