I have the chance to pick up a Rossi 720 from a friend and wanted to see what everyone thought about that model. I have not seen it yet but was told it is a model m720 stainless 3" 5 shot and he wants 250 for it. What say you!

I say you should buy it. Its a good price (not great - but definitely good). They are not rare but Rossi has not made them for several years so they are hard to find, in any quantity, at any given time. They shoot very well, and its a great caliber for handloading. They don't conceal real well but they are fine IWB with a cover shirt or jacket. Fun at the range and plenty of power for self defense.

Regards,

It's my grail gun

Being Californian certainly has made it harder to obtain one.
Great shooters from what I've been able to gather.

Thank's for the info guy's, I will see it tomorrow---- could come home with a new toy I don't know.

I love the CA bulldog concept but hate the marginal or good one day, terrible the next qc. I have given up and kept one 3" blue older version for fun. I'm not sure I trust my life to it. I stupidly passed a Taurus 2" mod 445 last year at $225. Had a line on a Rossi 720 at $150 in 2002 and passed one last year kind of beat at $180.

I do have a larger 5 shot Taurus 441 and it is extremely accurate, there is something special about the .44spl I feel.

Well it happened, I was talking with my friend and out of no where my wallet flew open and then the next thing I knew I was holding MY new Rossi 720. It looks like new and feels good in the hand. After a few range sessions it may be my new carry gun.
