Is anybody going to San Antone?
Does anyone know of maker/manufacturer who makes combat/roper/Jordan style grips for the newer round butt Redhawks? I had the hogues but with them I can't open the cylinder without adjusting my grip severely either making it an awkward one handed technique or dependent on a two handed technique. I may just use the stock grips and order a Tyler t adapter.

Thanks for the link, but those grips do nothing but replicate the factory ones. I'm looking for combat oriented grips. Guess it's time to give up and get the Tyler T adapter

Did you ever have any luck finding a conversion roper grip for the round butts? I'm after the same thing. I'm considering getting smooth eagle classics and either sanding the heel to follow the frame and refinishing or bedding the hollow bit at the bottom of the grip frame where a square butt would be. Or perhaps making a wedge.

No I didn't. The best way to go is to keep the standard grip panels and order Tyler T custom grip adapters.

Are the Tyler t grips effective with 300gr loads around 1000 or so? I've been somewhat skeptical given its still metal against your middle finger instead of wood, but the shape is right.

That would be up to the shooter, I never used the gun with heavy loads with panel grips, Tyler T or not. Hogue makes a rubber round butt grip that feels great to hold only issue is that I couldn't access the cylinder release button without modifying my grip.
