Hey guys. Ive wanted to know what kind of loads (and maybe recipes:D) people have for loads of history (loads you used to carry, shoot or maybe dad/grandad used to shoot). I needed some help with one though...

.38:
Treasury Loads (I like heavy doses of Titegroup for these)
Metro Loads
200 Grain slow loads (this is one I need help on, where can I find non-gas checked bullets for this? Everyone seems to make the really expensive checked stuff)

.45
Mil Ball (230@850)
Browning's original concept load (200@900)

9mm
Original WW1+2 load (truncated cone 125 gr. @1250fps)
US mil ball

As stated above, I cant find just 200gr LRN to replicate the rounds from the 50s (Ive got a very early model 10 that would love to get reaquainted with those:) ) Also, what kind of loads (factory defensive stuff) do you all replicate? I do a couple:

9mm
147gr Hornady
115 Gold dot +P
125 Gr Corbon +P (W/o the +P and with the same Sierra PJ).

Happy Handloading! The Chimp!
