Ruger Charger Ideas, Mods

I finally ordered myself a Charger and I'm planning on putting a Shockwave blade brace on it with the KAK tube. Originally I was going to do a Sid Brace Mini and a make a custom tube for a better length of pull, but the KAK is adjustable and the Blade brace is more solid... and half the price.

I'll stick with the Ruger synthetic stock. I'm trying to keep this build under 5 lbs.

I'm planning on putting a Primary Arms ACSS .22 LR scope on it fixed 6x and a cheap green laser.

IDK why all you guys are putting useless metal on the end of the barrel. The only thing worth putting on the end of a .22 is a suppressor.

Since the base gun was free, I apparently felt the need to spend that value on upgrades...okay, more than the base value...

I was not a fan of the stock barrel or the lack of options for front sights. I ordered a 6” KIDD barrel. Excellent fit and finish. Very snug fit.

Nodak rear rail and sight. I ordered a front sight adapter and sight for .92 barrels from Tech Sights. The aluminum Nodak front sight I handled felt really fragile around the ears.

I like all the charger ideas here. What the cheapest way to get a arm brace on a new charger receiver. I'm guessing they all work pretty similar.

I like that chassis. Wish I'd have known about those before I ordered the CC adapter. I'll sell you mine. :)
Hello there. I know it's been a while since you wrote this...just wondering if you were serious about selling your cc adapter? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks

Where did you get the front sight and is there one available for the stock Charger barrel?

I got it from Tech Sights. They only make it for .92 barrels.

The charger barrel is a different diameter than any other 10/22 barrel, so even buying a Nodak front is out of the question.

Options for a stock charger barrel are going to be milling a dovetail or drilling/tapping for a sight ramp.

The Charger is a cool thing, but it’s really not designed with the intent to do much modification for sights.

And there’s no such thing as a tall enough front sight post post for the Tech Sight to work with the Nodak rear, so I’ve got to order a Tech sight rear and figure out how to mount the red dot with a shorter rail section on the receiver.

So, I’m posting my almost new Nodak rear for sale if anyone needs on. It will work with the Nodak .92 front
