ruger mark lll 22/45 red dot sight

Last year i purchased a firefield red dot sight from optics planet,it did not work,optics would not take it back,sent back to manufacturer and got another,which did not work,sent that one back and got a third one which also did not work correctly. spent more in shipping then i originaly paid for the sight. left a bad taste in my mouth. Can any one recommend, from experiance, a good red dot sight for a ruger 22/45 that will cost around $50.00 give or take a little?

I used the cheapo BSA red dot from WalMart, $29.95, on my .22-45. Not the cleanest appearing dot, but worked fine, never lost it's zero, etc. I'm still using it on another gun...

Find a used ultradot. They are very soild units; I've got five of them on both small and large caliber pistols.

Thank all for the response, i mounted a truglo red dot which works fine for a 22 cal. the red dot is fuzzy, some what star shaped but for $30.00 i did not expect to get any better. This sigh holds zero when removed from the gun and reinstalled. Kadopm
