Ruger New Vaquero: Same frame for both .44mag and .45 Colt?

I think the obvious solution to this dilemma is to buy a 44 mag vaquero and 44 mag new Vaquero and then buy your 45 colts vaquero and new vaquero to compare. This really is the most logical conclusion.

If you need a .44 mag level of power buy that caliber. You can always shoot specials or down load the ammo if you plan to reload. Otherwise buy the .45 colt.
