How many magazines do you really need? I very rarely need any more than whatever the gun came with.
My standard purchase of staggered magazines for any handgun I plan to use much starts at 10, single stack pistols start at 12-15. Even my bolt action .22lr rifles have at least 5

IMO of they would release a "2.0" version that took Glock mags like the PC carbine at a sub $400 price point they would probably sell tons of them. $40 proprietary factory magazines are a major turn off.

I have a PC carbine and several Glocks mags to go with it. I would love it if someone made a decent handgun I could use my Glock mags in!

They are wear items and some gun magazines are vaporware.

I had one gun where I didn't shoot it at all for 10yrs cause I only had one magazine left. luckily the gun company released a batch of magazines recently. Course all were scooped up by the same people in my shoes... But it does allow me to shoot the gun again.

Every time you step on one you need one more. The time to stock up on magazines is while they are still available at normal prices. I bought a whole bunch of S&W 10mm mags off eBay when they were $15-20 each. Now they are discontinued they are going for $60-90.

When the next banic hits Glock 19 and 30 round Pmags will be hot commodities.

The minimum number of mags PER gun for me is five. For rifles like my Savage FCP 10 this hurts as those suckers are expensive! Since I have several 1911 pistols in .45 ACP I have a LOT of 1911 mags. I've got 67 numbered mags and another 20-30 waiting their turn.

I picked up a Ruger PCC last June. I didn't/don't/won't own a Glock but I currently have 12 magazines for the PCC. Six of them are 33 round mags. The PCC IMHO is a grownups 10/22. Mine is scary accurate, light recoiling, and actually fairly quiet due to the barrel length.

Was on the Ruger forum for years. And can say that a whole lot of folks bought them and loved them and still love them. A lot of Ruger fans really disappointed to see the direction Ruger is going. And there is a lot more to the discontinuation of the SR9 than meets the eye.
That said, I am no longer a Ruger fan of their new Semi-auto's. Turned in my Ruger Hat. They had a good run of it, but those are the days my friend. Even bought more mags for my SR9c. A really great, well built gun.
I cannot believe that the New PCC does not come with a P series mag well adapter? There are millions of Ruger P series mags out there. I am also disappointed in the direction Ruger has gone. My last Ruger pistol is a P series. another great well built gun
