I've never seen a 25-shot composite of five 5-shot groups less than about a third to half again that of the biggest 5-shot one. Group centers never were at the same place nor at the point of aim.
Someone suggested a test. I had to shoot two boxes of 22 long rifle in 20 five-shot groups atop each other on 20 targets centered on a 100-shot backer target. Calculated each groups' center. Then compare each 5-shot group to the composite. What an education.
