Ruger Scout Rifles

can anyone tell me about the accuracy of these little guns. i purchased the 243 it seems to have a heavier barrel than most i have seen so i dont know if they make 2 models. looking forward to shooting it after i give it to my girl for christmas.

The Bbl is heavy per say...

Ruger does not make one with a light weight profile. They are great shooters. Mine shots just over an inch at 100 yards. This really surprised me because I was using a Scout Scope and thought that the lack of magnification would take a way from accuracy.

It is a good rifle. Have fun and enjoy.
