Ruger Security-Six Heavy Barrel 2nd design with factory tiger striped target grips

Whenever I found this beautiful Security-Six I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough-and I'd never seen any tiger stripped Ruger grips like this before...and it came to me NIB. Here are some photos:

I agree with you...you never can go wrong via buying a Security-Six-especially a mint one with box! Congrats!

Good for you docbrown! I also love the Security-Six and all of the Six-Series revolvers...but the 2nd design heavy barrel is best and most rarest and hardest to find of the heavy barrel security-Sixes. Despite having classic Colt and Smith & Wesson revolvers in my collection I have never lost my love for these Six-Series revolvers! Congrat's on your find!

Beautiful gun and wood. When I bought my new Ruger Mini 14 from Bud's a few years ago, I was very surprised to see a similar tiger striping throughout the stock. Very pretty.
