Ruger single six ejector rod in a heritage RR

Hi people of THR I have had my heritage RR for about 6 years and the only thing to break ha been the plastic piece connected to the ejector rod. I was looking at a friends Ruger and there's is metal. So without taking guys out to try it does anyone know if they will swap without filing and fitting.

No idea, but it would be easy to find out, if your friend will let you take the ER housing off his Ruger.

IMO: A little filing and fitting would not be a deal breaker.
