Did you measure both sides of the gap? they can be different.just measured… between .006 & .007

Yeah, a broom' is really apt to perplex 'em.Lugers are confusing! but the look is 2th to the C96
I seen that done before! no burn? even with big boy .44’sI wrap my left index finger around the trigger guard when I shoot revolvers and have never had a problem.

I’m scared, seen it done, but I will give it a go next time with .38 HBWC 3.1g HP38 load! nice and liteNo burn ever. Not even once. Everything from 22 through 44. And I have big hands. I guess the index finger knows its limitations pretty well.
that is how i grip my revolvers
Big paws holding a 5-shot SP-101.
have you tried Cup & Saucer?Mark - speaking of grip style, when shooting my GP-100 4", I cup my left (weak) hand under my right so that the left thumb (what's left of it - table saw)and the palm swell under the thumb covers the bottom 3 fingers of the right. The left little finger and "ring finger" curl up under the outside (bottom) edge of the right.
