ruger super single six

Does a NIB Ruger Super Single Six have the same grip frame as a "regular" new model single six? I believe it is called xr-3.

Check with Hogue. Not sure on the numbers, but, they make it pretty clear, and, they have great grips for the price.

Original (mostly pre-74) Rugers had the XR-3. When the new model came out, it had the XR-3 RED grip frame. The original frame was almost identical to the Colt SAA. The new one is longer (more reach to the trigger, less battering of the middle finger...so they say)
