I think that most of these are nothing really new, the only thing I got from their email was that the mimi 30 now has a 20 round mag, The commander size SR1911, is going to be a winner, but another larger 380 that only takes 7 rounds is a "tell" along with the 20 round mag on the 223.
The Sr556vt is a 5 round in 308, which is nice looking but not a 2 thousand dollar msrp. And a new group of 22's that you will be able to probablly buy 10 or 7 round mags for depending on what the new law "if any" command. All in all some overpriced, "although msrp" means litle with most rugers.
I see a lean to bolt action guns with larger mags. I don't see that catching on.
A bolt action hunter doesn't need or want a 10 or 20 round mag in his hunting or target rifle.
The gunsite scout priced at 1 thousand in 308 with a 10 round mag, and bolt, seems to be the ultimate compromise weapon.,They threw everthing that would not be banned into that one lol
This is dissapointing, as they are trying to not make an AR, by throwing bolts, and smaller mags on guns that otherwise would be nice guns.
They even have a 10/22 with a laser for the man who has everything, compromise is the name of this product line IMO
Releasing this as close to the announcement bothers me, it's as if they know that the 30 round mags and military style AR is no longer around.
I might get the 480 if there were polar bears in Florida.

They made two new versions of the scout. Left and right handed models that have stainless barrels and receivers. The barrel is 18 inches.
