5-SHOTS:
Your truly excellent SW 99's BB stamp means that it was manufactured in 2011, and has the Ulm Germany city code as "proofing": the "antler" image.
Maybe most people out there have noticed that these Striker-fired S&W 99 & Walther 99 guns are DA/SA, a pretty rare combination.
Yukon_Cola: I chose a 99 AS because it was the only DA/SA & striker-fired handgun I had ever read about, and the fact that they were produced in Ulm Germany.
JCoopefan1911: That's a real shame about the gritty feel..
My 99 AS was bought ' nib '. The DA pull was smooth, with very little "stacking".
The increase in tension was proportionate to how far the trigger was pulled. Quite an engineering feat.
Was your 99AS bought used?
