I forgot that I actually own a 6th J-Frame S&W.

Several years back my OCD took over completely,,,
I spent a bucket of money assembling a "Set" of S&W Revolvers.

All Four frame sizes,,,
All four major cartridges,,,
All soulless,,, eerr stainless steel

I named them all after "Witchey Women"

Jezebel: Model 629 - N-Frame in .44 Mag,,,
Brighid: Model 686 L-Frame in .357 Magnum,,,
Morgana: Model 67 K-Frame in .38 Special,,,
Lilith: Model 63 J-Frame in .22 LR.

Lilith is the bottom right gun.

I bought it sight-unseen from an auction at Gunbroker,,,
I didn't notice until I had it home and in my hand,,,
That it sported those wonderful target grips.

Lilith is too nice a gun to go forgotten in this thread.

In the old "Frasier" TV show, I never disliked his ex-wife Lilith who showed up now and then, played by a lady named Bebe Neuwirth. I didn't see what the problem was with her and no... I didn't dislike her at all, not even one little bit. :)

Well there was that one time she had a bit too much to drink and did something that wasn't very nice but hey, it was just a TV show, right?

In Hebrew folklore, Lilith was Adam's first wife,,,
She was considered to be a bit of a "demoness" herself.

I'm sure that's the "pun" that the writers of Cheers/Frazier were capitalizing on.

I just liked the idea of Infamous witchy/women for names of weapons.

P.S. Bebe Neuwirth was/is a Babe!

I own the 2 S&W J frames pictured above, a Kimber K6s, Ruger LCR, and Taurus 85. I no longer carry any of them. This is my primarily carry. I can carry and conceal it on the waist just as easily as J frames. I still on a rare occasion might carry the LCR in my pocket in the winter.

I have an affinity for the S&W J frame. I bought my first one in 1991, a 640 Centennial .38 that I later traded for a 2.5” model 19, and I’ve had one pretty much constantly since then.

A 4” Model 34 .22 LR, a 3” Model 36 and a 1 7/8” Model 642:

The Model 642 with my nickel Model 49 and a couple of .38 Special cousins from Colt and Ruger:

A 3” Model 317 .22 LR:

Stay safe.

Thank you, I've learned something today.

Wow there's some real beauties posted here!
I've only got one, a plain jane 442 that I absolutely love and carry everywhere, and that always amazes me with it's accuracy.

Quick question for the experts....In my manual, S&W specifically states not to shoot +p loads but I see that many do-Did this model get updated for the hotter loads at some point? ( I don't remember when I bought mine but it's been at least 20 years)

I just looked at an August 1978 Model 60 manual online. The warning was for +P+ ammunition. +P is all I own and shoot in mine with no problems whatsoever.

My older 640 is "+P" rated in the cylinder window.

ETA-Bebe Neukirk shows up on "Blue Bloods" from time to time.

Lilith has a nice looking butt! :)

My collecting days are done and I'm down to 3 J frames these days, a 360PD for carry , a 16-15 Pro for range work and this 63-5 for backyard duty. She's not as pretty as your 63 but she gets the job done . We'll call her Gladys :)
