Good choice IMHO. I like Taurus revolvers, but not so much their semiautos. I have a Model 85, but I'm thinking about trading it in for a 2" stainless 856. Reason being is I want the extra round and the pinned front sight.
I have to say, the Ruger LCRx 3” attracts me. Seems like a nice package of feature for my needs.
I’m a big fan of 3” barrels, finding them to be the sweet spot for a 38/357.
I'm currently carrying a GP100 3” IWB.
I'd definitely stay with one of the Rugers, probably the LCRx if I were going to go the revolver route.
FWIW... I made the jump to self- shuckers a long time ago as the smaller ones became more reliable. Have been carrying the "original" LCP in pocket since that was made legal in Georgia.
Just today, I picked up a new Ruger EC9 S in 9X19. It's only a bit larger than the LCP in 380 ACP. Still fits nicely in the front pocket.
Taking it for a spin first thing in the morning.
I have the M60 3 inch. Great revolver. I usually use it with .38 Special +P but have shot some .357 through it as well. I carry mine in a Kramer paddle holster for easy on/off.
