Very nice M&P! Yours was the next evolution of the hand ejector model of 1905. Mine is a first change and shipped in 1906. There were also target models. This 1905 3rd change shipped in 1916.

I love the hand ejector! They had one in 32-20 for very expensive, perfect condition, $750! but I didn’t know what it was at the time

I paid a premium for it. $800 but it came with a like new original box & and all the original paperwork. Not a mark on the cylinder too.

I was kinda confused because I seen a “20” on the inside, and thought might have been a model “20” but it’s just a inspection number.

Don’t worry, someone will be along shortly to tell you that you over paid and that they themselves just saw 3 of them at their LGS for $300 each and that you’re crazy for paying so much.

I think you got a rarity. That gun is gorgeous and well worth what you paid…and I am envious.
