S&W Model 36 Date of Manufacture Request

I am curious about the date of manufacture of Model 36 no dash SN J81XXX. Looks like a normal Chiefs Special but if is an early date I will be glad to post pictures. Thank you, Bill

J-1 through J-99999 = 1969 - 1970.

I'd say it was shipped in 1970.
I'd say it is a normal Chief's Special.
